Sales Policy
Please take a moment to read and understand our sales policy as then there is no confusion
I want to make sure that your purshase of a Tinseltown rabbit is an enjoyable process and this will
alleviate any problems that may arise.
PLEASE NOTE: Tinseltown Rabbit Stud will only offer Bucks (boys) to pet homes as primarily they make better pets. Does will only be offered to breeders with whom you are are member of a rabbit club. Thankyou.
I will not sell kits or adults to anyone under the age of 16 yrs without a parent or guardian present. The welfare of the rabbit is paramount, so an adult needs to accept responsibility for the care of the animal.
Kits will not be released until eight weeks of age. Please do not ask for early release as refusal may offend.
I reserve the right to refuse release if I feel it is in the interest of the kit until it is ready to leave the rabbitry, even if it is eight weeks old (you will be notified).
The sex of baby rabbits cannot be guaranteed until at least eight weeks and even then it may be difficult with some.
I will not sell a brother and sister together to pet homes (Registered breeders may request this).
I reserve the right to refuse sale without explanation.
You will be asked to fill in a PURCHASER INFO SHEET for our records.
A non refundable 50% deposit is required to hold each rabbit.
Please choose carefully as no refund will be given for change of mind.
Deposits will be accepted when kits are four weeks old. Viewings can be arranged at this time and are for genuine buyers only. You may come and visit your new addition any time suitable for both of us.
Payments must be finalized by eight weeks of age or upon pickup (one weeks grace can be given for pickup at no extra charge). The kit may be offered for re sale and the deposit retained if you don't finalize payment.
In the unfortunate event that your chosen rabbit has succumbed to death at the rabbitry, you will be refunded in full. You may be offered another if any are available.
In the event that you have decided to put a deposit on a newborn kit, I usually will know around six weeks of age if I would like to retain any kits. I reserve the right to retain your chosen kit, you will be refunded in full. You may be offered another if any are available (it will be posted on our site aswell).
You must notify (48hrs) your arrival before pickup.
Prices will range from $50.00-$150.00 According to pet quality through to show quality, linage or colour. If you only want a pet but choose a more expensive show quality, you will still pay the show quality price.
Rabbits can be RUNG for REGISTERED BREEDERS only.
Prices will be listed next to the rabbit on the FOR SALE page.
