PERTH (WA) breeder of quality DWARF LOP RABBITS

Sales Info

What you will recieve from me when purchasing a rabbit.

All of our rabbits will leave the rabbitry with a birth certificate, which will have a photo of your new rabbit and it's litter mates, or a pedigree for RUNG rabbits (only available to Registered Current Breeders).

All rabbits will have their teeth checked (for malocclusion).

Their nails will be clipped.

Transitional food for about a week, bag of oaten hay.

Information book of the original West Australian Rabbit Council (very informative for new rabbit owners and a must read). These cost us to purchase.

You can also count on ongoing support as well if required.

PLEASE NOTE: Tinseltown Rabbit Stud will now only offer Bucks (boys) to pet homes as they are primarily suited better as pets. Does will only be offered to breeders with whom are members of a rabbit club.

What you need to do, to be ready for your new arrival.

You will need to supply a suitable carry cage/box to travel home in, preferable with some hay on the bottom (so they can nibble on something).

Most importantly, you should have a suitable hutch or boarding area for your new arrival. You should have food, bedding, hay, water bottle or dish, litter tray (if required) and somewhere safe for an outdoor run. Having everything ready will make the transition a lot smoother and stress free for you and rabbit.

If you find that your circumstances change and you are no longer able to care for your rabbit, I will happily have them back to rehome (no refund given and we will not charge you), preferably with their current hutch/house, so they can settle easier. Please don't harm or dump them as they would probably just succumb to death.     NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

Our vision for breeding Dwarf Lops.

Here at Tinseltown, I breed Dwarf Lops to further my lines, ensuring that quality and not quantity is paramount. Remembering, this is a hobby and to enjoy it as such. I follow as close as possible to the British Rabbit Council Standards to keep the quality high. Even if you acquire a rabbit as a pet it should still be of a high standard.

My aim at Tinseltown is to produce some amazing show quality rabbits that also have great personalities that will suit the pet home and to show them whenever possible.

I do not breed for the pet trade or for profit and any money that is acquired from a sale will automatically go back into the rabbitry for care, maintenance and vet bills. It will also help me acquire new rabbits to improve my lines. There is no money to be made breeding rabbits. I do it for the love of it as it is my hobby. I would love to keep all of the rabbits that are bred, but it's just not possible. Sometimes there may only be one or two that are worthy to retain from any one litter and sometimes none maybe suitable for our program, so it is important to me that I find forever loving homes for the remaining litter.

A rabbit can be a wonderful animal to own and you will be rewarded with their unique ways. Whether you decide to have your rabbit outside in a hutch or living with you in the home, you get out of it what you put into it and we can guarantee they will make you smile.

Please take a moment to consider if you have the time and money to care for a rabbit. They are very adorable and appealing when they are babies, but unfortunately when they mature that is when you will find most people lose interest. Do you have the commitment to care for an animal for as long as 5-10 years? (No different to a cat or dogs lifetime). We only want what is best for the rabbit. Please consider both their and your future.
