PERTH (WA) breeder of quality DWARF LOP RABBITS

                                           Our Rabbitry

All of my older rabbits are vaccinated each year.

I have bought in rabbits from reputable breeders with good sound knowledge. Any matings that are done is a carefully selected process to ensure I get the best possible result. Always aiming to produce better litters than the last.

Our rabbits are housed indoors away from the pestering flys, mozzies and also airconditioned. There is good cross ventilation aswell. They have their own spacious individual hutches with everyone having their own toy balls, boxes, ect to keep them amused when I am not there to keep them company. There is a radio playing during the day to break the silence.

They are fed once a day with a good quality pellet, mothers with kits fed twice per day, (Wesfeeds Rabbit & Guinea Pig pellets), Oaten hay, (Try and buy the square bales or the export bales as they should be greener). Vegies and such are given intermittently during the week. Water is checked twice a day.

These are available at all good animal stockist and if they aren't, then ask if they can.

When the weather is nice, they take turns to go outside to the grass runs to enjoy the sunshine and a different view.

On the days they don't go outside, they may get hand pick green grass for them from the horse paddock.

The product that I use and recommend for bedding or litter trays is WOODYPET. It is an excellent product and one that seems far more superior than anything else on the market. Very economical and last a long time,  environmently friendly, keeps odours down. Though it is hard to find at your local pet store, but I am lucky that my local feed store has it now. As it is hard for people to get at the moment, people who purchase a Tinseltown rabbit will have the opportunity to buy bags from me until they are more widely available. I have heard from my stockist that some of the stores that do sell it are marking the price up considerably. I will keep my price very reasonable.

Please note that I am not a distributor for this product nor do I recieve financial gain from this company. I'm just a very happy customer that has found a great product that I'm happy to share with like minded people. If it can make your rabbit care easier, I'm all for that.

Below is some photos for you to see how easy it is to use WOODYPET and for someone who just has one or two pet bunnies it will last a long time. For these people, you would not have to use as much as I have shown in some photos.

                                                                                             They look like pellets

Pour some water just to cover enough                   Now mix the water through so it's all wet

Pellets have now boken down to fluff               Ready to use and store in your bin with a lid

Scoop some WOODYPET into litter tray                   Your tray is now ready for the hutch

Alternatively, you could also use WOODYPET to layer whole of hutch if you so desire, if you choose not to use hay or paper.

When bunny has done their wees, just scoop out that section, then mix around. If tray gets low, just add another scoop or two depending how deep you like it. You  can also use a cat litter scoop to shake out their hard poop pellets, the WOODYPET will just fall through, then you have a clean tray again, very easy.
